KNITTED TETRAGLAS® ROPE

 

TETRAGLAS® KNITTED ROPE offers the advantages of economy with more consistency and workability without sacrificing any of the physical, chemical or high temperature characteristics. Service temperature of 1000°F constant. Both styles are completely incombustible.

• Style 250-S is a soft and easily compressible material for gasketing, caulking for oven and furnace doors and expansion joints, as well as woodstoves.

• Style 250-D is a firm, dense material that more resembles twisted Rope. Used in applications requiring a more dense material, yet one which will not unravel during installation.

• Vermiculite Coated Knitted Tetraglas® Rope is manufactured from texturized fiberglass yarns then coated with Vermiculite, a 100% inorganic dispersion. Vermiculite coated Tetraglas® Knitted Rope will withstand temperatures up to 1500°F constant with excursions to 2000°F.

This economical alternative can be used for gasketing, caulking for oven and furnace doors and expansion joints.

TWISTED TETRAGLAS® ROPE

TETRAGLAS® TWISTED ROPE is a completely incombustible material capable of withstanding continuous service temperatures up to 1000°F. This rope will resist most acids and alkalis and will remain unaffected by solvents and bleaches.

Applications include: caulking for oven and furnace doors, gasketing material and expansion joints.

• Sizes 1-1/4" – 2" sold only as full cartons

 

TETRAGLAS® SQUARE DRY PACKING

Tetraglas® Square Dry Packing is manufactured from Tetraglas ® texturized yarns. These yarns are square plaited into a dry, dense packing material. This packing will not shrink or swell in service. Used as gasketing on covers of processing kettles and tanks. Also this packing provides excellent service on oven doors. For service temperatures up to 1000°F continuous.

Vermiculite Coated Tetraglas® Square Dry Packing is manufactured from texturized fiberglass yarns then coated with Vermiculite, a 100% inorganic dispersion. Vermiculite Coated Tetraglas® Square Dry Packing will withstand temperatures of 1500°F constant with excursions to 2000°F. Vermiculite coating also offers extra abrasion resistant.

TETRAGLAS® 3000 TWISTED ROPE

Manufactured from texturized, silica yarns for service temperatures to 2300°F in static applications.

When used as caulking, the Tetraglas® 3000 Twisted Rope offers the same construction as older, outdated materials.

Applications include: boilers, oven doors, continuous casting operations, high temperature caulking for aluminum and steel.

TETRAGLAS® 3000 Square Braided Rope is a texturized silica rope for service temperatures to 2300°F.
