Compression type packings are the oldest and still the most common means of controlling fluid loss in mechanical equipment. Made from relatively soft, pliant materials, they find major use in rotary, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, valves, expansion joints, and many other types of mechanical equipment. Manufactured of synthetic yarns, twisted lubricated and graphited. Will seal up to 500°F against hot and cold air, water, and ammonia.

A non-asbestos braided packing utilizing DuPonts aramid fiber Kevlar®. Its high temperature capability eliminates thermal expansion problems. Replaces Asbestos/TFE and Asbestos/Graphitge packings. For temp. -100°F to +400°F.

An unusual packing which requires no special lubricants or modifications. The inherent properties of heat resistance, low friction, chemical resistance and high heat transfer give advantages found in no other packing material. For pressures to 100 psi (dynamic service) and vacuum service to 500°F.
